Iran, Egypt & implications for American Muslims

I will be today’s fill in host on the “Senator Shaw Show” from 7pm Eastern to 8pm.

Today’s discussion will explore the foreign and domestic policy implications for American Muslims as it relates to the Iranian Revolution of 1979 and what influence does that event have or not have on the current uprisings in North Africa and the Middle East.

My guest will be Marjan Seirafi-pour, who is a member of the Oklahoma Governor’s Ethnic American Advisory Council and is conducting international graduate studies research at the University of Oklahoma.  Seirafi-pour grew up in Iran during the Iranian revolution and is a frequent traveler to the region.
