It appears that there was a false alarm today when a Nigerian businessman was detained by law enforcement while flying from Amsterdam to Detroit. It seems that he had taken too long in the bathroom due to being ill, which led to him being detained on the basis that he acted suspiciously and was disruptive. The man has now been cleared as being a security threat.
Meanwhile, I just learned that 2 Middle Eastern males were removed from an airline in Arizona for supposedly acting suspicious – acting suspicious in this case was watching “The Kingdom” while speaking a foreign language.
After the unfortunate incident of 2 days ago, hysteria is now the order of the day. I knew that this would happen.
Right about now, I’m sure that West Africans are probably going to be too nervous of using the bathroom on flights. And I’m sure that many people who speak Arabic or Farsi as a 1st language will resort to being temporary mutes on airplanes flying into or in America.
